Your phone line, answered in the caller's language
Ziqme Voice picks up, holds a real conversation, answers from your knowledge base and opens a ticket β replying in whatever language the caller used. It runs through the Asterisk PBX you already operate, which dials out to us over 443, so nothing on your network has to accept a connection. Early access: it answers real calls, but you cannot buy it on its own yet.

How a call actually goes
Where Ziqme Voice stands today
Part of this answers real calls. Part of it is not built. Every section below says which.
Answering real calls
Reception, language matching, knowledge-base answers, ticket intake and self-service PBX connection have been run end to end β a Raspberry Pi running Asterisk, placing real calls against the deployed cluster.
Not on sale yet
Voice has an app and entitlement infrastructure, but no public checkout or carrier pricing yet. Early-access tenants are enabled with us, tenant by tenant.
Asterisk 22.8 or 20.18 and newer
Voice connects through your own Asterisk and needs the WebSocket media transport those releases added. Stock FreePBX ships an older build, and there is no SIP trunk option yet.
What happens on a live call
Answers in the caller's language
The persona instructs Voice to detect the caller's language from their first words and follow any switch, with a guard against using a language the caller has not used. English and Persian are verified on real calls.
Picks up and talks
Speech in, speech out, in real time: a greeting, then an actual back-and-forth about what the caller needs. Not a menu tree, and not a voicemail box.
Answers from your knowledge base
Voice can retrieve passages from your tenant knowledge base before responding. The model uses them as context and may paraphrase them; retrieval reduces unsupported answers but does not guarantee them away.
Your PBX dials out β nothing dials in
Asterisk opens both the control and the audio connection to us over 443. No inbound port, no port forwarding, no VPN, no NAT rules, nothing new listening on your network.
The call becomes a ticket
A call can open a ticket in the helpdesk you already run, carrying the caller's number, start and end times and, when produced and handed off, a transcript.
You write what it says
Company name, description, opening hours, facts it may state and free-form instructions β all edited on the settings page. No engineer, no redeploy, no ticket to us.
Not built yet
None of this exists today. If one of them is the reason you would buy, wait for it rather than take our word.
- Appointment booking β no calendar is connected
- Opening-hours routing, departments, transfers and callback fallback
- Buying a phone number, or forwarding one you already have
- SIP trunks, and PBXs other than Asterisk
- Call recording and consent handling
- Call analytics dashboards
- Spend caps, concurrency caps and an operator kill switch
What we can promise about your calls
Only the controls that exist. Recording modes, consent handling and retention schedules are on the planned list above, not here.
No approval, no call
An AI provider has to be approved for voice for your tenant before a call is answered. A missing or mismatched approval refuses the call rather than quietly falling back to something unapproved.
Nothing accepts a connection
Because your PBX dials out, there is no listening port for anyone to find. Both connections are TLS, with the server certificate and hostname verified.
Rotate a secret without dropping calls
A site secret rotates with an overlap window you choose, from immediate to seven days, so the old one keeps working while you roll the new one out.
It admits what it is
The persona instructs the assistant to identify itself as automated when asked. This is a model guardrail, not a guarantee of every response.
